I have been underwhelmed with Frontier thus far. It has been three weeks and my internet has not been activated and I haven't received my modem. First the customer service rep took down the number for my debit card incorrectly so my deposit never went through. Then once I gave my debit card number again, I was told my internet would be activated March 1st and it is now March 5th. On my initial phone call I told the customer rep I wanted to self install, but then I got a phone saying they couldn't come out on Thursday, March 3rd to install and had to reschedule. I wasn't even told in the first place they were planning on coming out on the 3rd since I wanted to self-install. Now I am still waiting for a modem to be shipped and my internet to be activated. This process has been a huge hassle and I will not be recommending Frontier to anyone. I started this process on February 18th and it is now March 5th... with no internet.

This was the most frustrating experience I've ever had trying to set up a service for my home. I initially scheduled with you to set up the fios service on a Wednesday before 3, since I had somewhere to be at 3:30. Your customer service agent told me that would be no problem. Wednesday came and went and no one showed up or called me. I waited til Sunday to call you since I was busy and curious to see if your company would contact me about the missed appointment. They didn't, so I called to reschedule. After giving me no straight answer as to why my appointment had been missed, they told me the earliest appointment they had was for Friday between 8-12. Five more days of not having internet and being able to do work at my home. Noon on friday came and no one had called or come to my house so I called again to figure out why my time and business was so unimportant to your company. I again got no striaght answer. Someone finally came to my house at 2pm and reported to me that the order he had for me was for dsl service , not fios, which I had originally requested when I had called and ordered service from you two weeks prior. At this point I was beyond frustrated. I still haven't heard back from your company about rescheduling an appointment to set up fios service, which your technicians told me would happen, but I don't care anymore as charter will be here Wednesday to set up service thru their company. Get your act together.

During the initial set up I explained that we had our own router. The technician came out and tried to install the router he brought. We explained that we already had one and did not need it. It was easy and simple to set-up with Frontier. The follow up was good and appreciated. The day service was scheduled the technician did arrive at the end of the time window I received and it did take him about 1.5 hours to complete his task, however, he was pleasant and well mannered. So far, my service has been very good, no complaints.

We had a Fios bundle (land line, internet and TV) installed on Monday Aug. 1. Jesse was the installer and very friendly, helpful and efficient. The installation went well and took 3 hours. We are concerned that when we asked if our package on the TV received NESN and were told yes, that we were not fully informed. (This was all done on the phone, not with Jesse). We are from the East Coast and want to receive Red Sox games and the Nesnthat is provided is Nesn National. We had specifically explained our needs when we set up the appointment. Also, since getting installed we have had blips in service....the computer shuts off for 1 to2 minutes occasionally and then internet access comes back on. According to Jesse we may need a booster because our router is far from the family room so an amplifier may help. We have not purchased one as yet If outages continue we will not be happy. Giving it a week or so to work out the bugs.

I have had to call in 3 times to get the correct pricing offers in my area for a new subscriber. The first and second call in, they quoted me a subscription for a renewing existing customer :/ I am just hoping that I made the right decision to switch. We'll see in a few months.

I haven't had any real problems with my service since instalation I will say the customer service of getting it installed was very poor and unorganized. Once the appointment was set up everything went smoothly. The installer was very nice and did an awesome job at making sure everything was running properly before leaving.

We had an excellent service call with Manny from Frontier. The young man was on time, professional, and very friendly. We didn't receive the box of necessary items before his appointment, but my husband called ahead to let the office know and it was all taken care of, so Manny had everything he needed when he arrived. We received the box in the mail yesterday and need to know what to do with it now! In general, our Frontier experience was very positive and we've heard negative stories, so we are very pleased.

Marcus was my installer and he did an AMAZING job, doing everything that was necessary to get everything working and making sure I got what I ordered, even when it wasn't on his original order. For example, I wanted DVR and somehow it wasn't on my order. He called in and got it added so he could then install it. He spent a considerable amount of time dealing with dated and odd placement of prior cables with a smile and efficiency.

Customer support and sales need to have access to the same dataset. When giving my order number to CS they didn't know what I was talking about.
