Commitment to the communities we serve is a core value for our company. In some instances, we are able to serve by keeping our communities connected. Frontier is proud to provide communications services at the Hillsboro baseball stadium in Hillsboro, Oregon, home to the Hillsboro Hops. Services include FiOS® Internet, Wi-Fi, phone and FiOS TV.

Through Frontier’s communications services, Hillsboro Hops fans can stay connected to the game and their favorite players like never before, providing a first-class fan experience. Whether sending a tweet to the team at @HillsboroHops or checking stats online in real time, Hillsboro Hops fans are now able to enjoy an interactive game-day experience. The most dedicated Hops fans can use Frontier’s game-day connection to check into Minor League Baseball’s apps: MiLB Inside the Park and MiLB First Pitch. The apps feature interactive game-day features, opportunities to participate in contests at the ballpark, stats, scores and news.

In addition to supporting minor league baseball in Oregon, we are excited to sponsor this year’s Tulalip Summer Concert series at the Tulalip Resort Casino Amphitheatre in Tulalip, Washington. Through our support of this concert series all concertgoers can now enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, courtesy of Frontier Business EdgeTM. Performances at the Tulalip Amphitheatre this summer include Pat Benatar and Rick Springfield, Michael McDonald and Toto, and Sammy Hagar.

Stay connected while you enjoy the music and show with the Wi-Fi services provided by Frontier. Video chat with a friend or family member who was unable to attend, connect with the featured band on Facebook and upload a video of the performance to YouTube — all with our Wi-Fi connection. Don’t have a lighter on hand for when the band launches into a classic ballad? Download a lighter app, such as Virtual Lighter or the BIC® Concert Lighter, both available for free on iTunes and Google Play, and turn your mobile device into a lighter on the go.

Whether taking in a baseball game or rocking out during a summer concert, stay connected with social media by uploading your best pictures from the game or concert to Instagram and Facebook. You can also check into the event on Foursquare or search the event hash tag on Twitter to chat with other attendees.

These are just two examples of the communications services we provide at different venues and locations across the Frontier footprint. No matter where you are going or what you are doing this summer, chances are you can stay connected with a Frontier public Wi-Fi connection. Whether its connecting baseball fans to their favorite players, or enhancing your concert-going experience, we are proud to provide these services to the communities we serve.
