Summer’s in full swing and you know what that means: party time. And of course, every fun party needs a great playlist.

Check out these music streaming sites to help find the perfect summer jams for your function.

We’re starting this list with the newest service and one you may not have heard of. 8tracks is perfect for the laidback listener who prefers putting their music experience in the hands of others.

Users, or “DJs,” create playlists consisting of music found through their personal libraries or 8tracks’ own library. Listeners can then search the site’s playlists by genre, artist or more emotionally/psychologically descriptive tags such as “summer,” “love” or “eclectic.” It makes for a very convenient listening experience, and a great way to find fairly obscure music you might never have heard of otherwise.

8tracks also offers a paid version, 8tracks Plus, at $25 for six months with the benefit of an ad-free experience.

A free Pandora account gives you access to everything the website has to offer when creating your own personalized radio station. You can start one by choosing a specific artist, song or genre, or by selecting a pre-made station from a variety of categories, including “summer.” Finding new music is easy thanks to the site’s algorithm, which adapts to your taste as you approve or disapprove of the songs played.

While the free service does come with its fair share of ads, like many other free music streaming sites, you have the option of subscribing to Pandora One for $4.99 or a discounted $54.89 a year for the benefit of an ad-free experience as well as additional chances to skip songs.

From our friends in Sweden comes the music streaming site that most people think of when they actually hear the words, “music streaming site.” With an extensive library of music, a Pandora-like Spotify Radio feature, and the ability to download and store songs on your devices, if you’re looking for something that has all the bells and whistles and you don’t mind paying, then this is the service for you.

To be fair, Spotify also has a free version that you can enjoy, but the meat and potatoes of this service are hidden behind a paywall. Spotify Premium will run you $9.99 a month.

Whichever site you choose for the soundtrack of your summer, you can be assured that Frontier Communications has the internet and WiFi services you need to help keep the party rolling.
