I was pleased at how easy it was to get information with your chat service. When the representative was finished giving me details on the special in my area and I said I wasn't ready to order just yet, she gave me a special phone number to order and told me it was a priority line because of the busy time of year it was. The installation was set up for 10 days later, earlier than I'd expected. When the technician arrived (on time) he was courteous, efficient and informative. It took over a week to get a technician out to my home to install cable and internet. They missed their initial appt, and tried to schedule me out for another week out. I refused and said I would take my business elsewhere. Some how their "no technicians" turned into two technicians who could make it out that same day. The technicians were helpful and friendly. We have already had a couple issues with the cable services though. We attempted to purchase the UFC fights and when it said it didn't go through, we decided to buy them through the PS4 instead. But we still got charged by Frontier. We are also supposed to have HBO for free for two years, but every time I try to watch something on HBO is says I have to subscribe in order to watch. Overall I am seriously unimpressed by Frontier so far.

Called in to get info on Frontier services, was considering getting internet only because I will not do DISH cable, sales rep said she needed my social security number to do a credit check to see if I was even "allowed" to get service. She then put me on hold and the call was dropped for the 2nd time. I gave up on Frontier and immediately called and signed up for services with another company. A week and a half later I get a "self-install" kit in the mail from Frontier! I never even discussed packages, pricing, install dates or ANYTHING that would make them think I wanted to go ahead with services. I ordered a phone line (pots) . the order was written wrong 2 times and I had to call in 5 times. I have been told a date my service would be working each time - so far none have been met. I have a ticket open know and have been told sometime before 8 pm tomorrow night. Most of the reps have been nice to talk to. The over all service has been poor. I have had your service before and the experience was far better.

Since my service has not been installed yet can't comment upon that. However, my experience trying to get it set up was less than stellar. The rep was extremely unprofessional and argumentative. In fact, when I pointed out fiber optic vs cable meant nothing to me her response was that I must like crap service in a pretty snotty tone. I went ahead and still signed up, fiber optics had nothing to do with my decision, but I am concerned about the level of customer service I experienced with her. I am leaving Comcast because of cost. After dealing with another cable company for years & a Satellite Dish Company for over 2 decades, I must say the customer service of Frontier is very impressive. I had to reschedule my install appointment because it was Easter Sunday. At first there was no openings the following Sunday (I did not complain) but the Customer Service Rep (named Sofia) went out of her way to make sure I can get installed the following weekend. She got my phone number and claimed she was going to call me back. I told myself yeah right I never got a phone call back in my life from a cable company. After 2.5 hours Sofia called and I was impressed that she was able to talk to a Manager and got me scheduled for this Sunday. I have heard of the good reputation of Frontier but I never experienced it until last Saturday. Now I'm a believer!!!!

I had a terrible time with the individuals setting things up for me and decided not to use them for my internet. The first person I spoke with told me there was still a balance at my new apartment, even though it had been vacant for over a month. She sent me to customer service, who was supposed to ask me some questions to verify my identity. When I was transferred, the customer service person had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't find me in the system. Then she said I had to fax or email (like I had internet!) my lease over to prove when I moved in. When I asked if I could schedule an earlier install date then 4 days from then, the customer service woman asked for my billing number (not my phone number.) I told her I didn't have one yet because nothing was set up. She said I should have it in an email (NO INTERNET YET!). Finally fed up (I'd been on the phone for over 50 minutes at this point) I decided to cancel my install. I called back to cancel--they couldn't find me in their system. They said "call back in two hours; you should be in our system by then." When I called back, they still couldn't find me. I told them to cancel anything they had on me or make a note of it or something. They then called me on the day they wanted to install, asking why I wasn't home. LOL!! PS-I went with a different company and got everything installed that same day.

Absolutely awful service. We were scheduled to get internet installed on April 15th. Frontier sent us an automated message on the 14th confirming our appointment. Got an automated call on the 15th that they were cancelling our appointment and were rescheduling it to the 26th. We, of course, called customer support to say that this was unacceptable. The customer service representative said that the earliest day for install was not the 26th, but May 3rd. We ended up bouncing through 4 different representatives, each one telling us a different story but all pretty much agreeing that they were powerless to help us. Why can't I just install it myself like other companies offer? Why doesn't Frontier have any control over its installation contractors? Unbelievable. We are going with a different company for internet service.

Very unsatisfied with the service of instillation. We were given an appointment a week and a half out from setting up internet. We arranged to be home that Saturday. We get an automated call that they were canceling. After contacting customer service it would be another 3 weeks before we could get internet. We spent over two hours trying to navigate this company. We canceled before we even were able to get service and went with another provider. First off, after being told I had to wait 2 weeks for the install of my DSL line (really?), I notified our office manager at the community to be alert to them and let them in to set up the service as I travel a lot for work. On the appointed date, I was driving down I-5 when my cell phone rang with a robot voice saying "Do to unforeseen circumstances your install has been delayed..." - then listing a date 2 additional weeks out. I had left a clear note on the door regarding the office staff letting them in, and here I was receiving an android voice saying I had to wait again. I contacted Frontier and was told it was probably an oversight and the service was installed. No it wasn't. Very poor customer service.

After about an hour and a half of chatting she said that they were overbooked and would have to reschedule. I love the quality of your TV. The picture is crisper than Comcast. Phone quality is worse than Comcast and we had to have another service call when static developed on the line in the first few hours after installation. The issue has been corrected. Internet speed, as expected, is better and more consistent then Comcast. The issue is that the Frontier router does not reach across our home like our Netgear router did. Both the installer and the man who fixed the phone told us to go to Best Buy and ask them what to buy to extend the signal. We purchased an Eero system but when I called Frontier the Tier 2 Support woman I had the unfortunate luck to get on the phone was not helpful and even hung up on me. It appears we got it to work with the help of advice on the internet.

I signed up for Frontier's internet and television service two weeks ago and started getting email about a "Frontier Secure" service I need to activate. I don't recall the sales person saying anything about this service and needing to activate anything. The sad thing is I have not received any communication about my install date/time as of yet. A bit troublesome, gonna call them now...

Well, I have been waiting for three weeks to have the install completed, as my first install date was changed without my authorization. So, yesterday they were supposed to come, but when I called at the end of the day, I was told that the order was cancelled. The wonderful gal I spoke with, Denise, was the saving grace. She was honest about the cancellation, which was the first time I hadn't been disappointed. All the bad has been wiped away with great customer service, so I'm giving Frontier one final chance. I was a little frustrated with the installation process. I had to wait about two and half weeks for my appointment with a technician. The day the tech was scheduled to arrive (between the hours of 8am and 12pm) I received a phone call around 9am to reschedule my appointment. Given that I had to take the morning off from work to be home, I was not happy. Once the technician arrived the date of my (re)scheduled appointment, he was friendly, professional and quick. I would give him a better than 3-star rating, but the overall experience was not impressive.

Customer service is below average. I had a scheduled install with a window of 9-12. I took time off work. By 12:04 i called in because no tech had showed up. I was told they were short handed and no one was coming. If this was known at 9am a courtesy call to your customer would have been nice. I specifically asked for a call back by 5pm to have the situation rectified and that never happened. The next day I get a call from my son that a tech had showed up at our door step. We had no warning that they were coming. I still have ever never received an apology. However the tech that did the install was very polite and efficient.

I was told by the rep that my address did not exist so they just cancelled me even though you have service to two of the other apartments in this complex, #2 and #4 , this there has to be one for unit 3. I was left on hold for a very long time while people try to get things in order then I was finally scheduled out three days later and had to wait all day long as I was scheduled sometimes between 8 in the morning and 5 o'clock in the evening . The installation technician (Steven) reached out to me ahead of my installation window to advise that he was available earlier than he expected, and if I was also available, he would be happy to head over early. I was, he did. Steven was friendly, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job explaining the installation process and detailing the service and equipment. Steven answered all of my questions, and did a tidy and efficient installation. After the installation was complete, Steven verified that I was getting the appropriate download speeds and provided me with his business card in case I had any post installation hiccups. This was, hands down, the best installation experience I have had with any carrier. My experience with Frontier so far has been excellent. I can only hope that the Quality of Service post-installation is as good as my experience so far. Thanks Steven, and thanks Frontier!

I love my Frontier service and the customer service I have received so far! When I first installed the internet the man had informed me that the services had went down. He offered to wait in his van until they came back on. He waited for 30 minutes which I thought was super nice of him. After the 30 minutes he came inside to let me know it would be a little longer, but that he could activate my internet as soon as the services came back on. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to wait around to see before he decided leaving and that he communicated with me about everything that was going on. As soon as the services were back on he gave me a call right away to let me know he activated them! He didn't have to on top of it, but he was, and in my experience that is amazing service!

I love not having to worry about a data cap and I can't wait for digital voice to be available in my area. This transition has been about as seamless as it could be. Eric was courteous and went about his business in a professional manner. He completed the outside work quickly and when he was ready to start inside, he gave us a warning as there were several tasks that we were completing that required the use of the Internet. The gal I talked to when I called the information line was beyond helpful.. She knew the answers to all my questions and set me up for service.. What started off rather bad, ended up quite good. My first attempt at scheduling an install, resulted in an entire day going past, with no call or contact. After waiting most of the day, I called, only to find that there was a "computer glitch." Stuff happens, so I rescheduled. The next appointment happened, within the time given. The installer was friendly and did a great job installing 3 boxes and explaining the new services. All is working, so far. I did not get more than a basic apology for the missed appointment, but the 2nd attempt made up for that, mostly. Winner, all around.

The service installer was super considerate over all. He arrived early within the four hour hook-up window and called 15 minutes before arrival. He put on booties to protect my carpets from the rain and mud which I really appreciated. He was fast and friendly and knowledgeable and didn't BS me. I received extraordinary customer service Scott in the technical support department. He was helpful and nice to talk to. I need a change my Frontier security bundle which he quickly did for me and even saved me some money! I also had a question about billing and he transferred the call to customer service and stayed on the line with me the whole time I was on hold. They were not able to take care of the billing issue that day, but Scott called me back the very next day as promised to update me on the status and scheduled to call me back again on his next working day.
