After being disconnected 3 times, then told by a female customer service agent "that they cant find my account info, she then says "great...this is gonna take a while." SERIOUSLY.. Plus I could hardly understand her, I kept repeating that I cant hear her, she then keeps giving me big sighs... So far I really like having Frontier tv and internet. I did call to ask a minor questions and was put on hold for a really long time . Also I wanted to change my passwords for the wireless router, but was told I would have to read the brochure directions then climb up in my closet, plug in a laptop and change it there....That kinda made me mad as the tech could have done it for me with his laptop when he was at my house installing for 5 and a half hours installing 3 TV's and internet....so that is why you didn't get 5 stars.

The people on the phone were very helpful, and I'm very happy with my service so far. The only thing I have to complain about is I received several robo-calls confirming my service date (between 1-5 p.m.) , and I took a day off from work to be home for the installation. I waited around all day and they never showed, and I had to call customer service to find out what happened. The customer service woman was nice and told me that she apologized for the error, wasn't sure why they didn't come, and that I should receive a call from someone soon, but I never did. I had to call back again the next day and they came out that day, but I couldn't take two days off in a row on such short notice so my wife had to handle it. Other than that, satisfied so far.

Mike was Awesome! The whole installation process from services detection to activation was planned, explained, and executed flawlessly and on time. I got nothing but good things to say about Mike, the service installer/activator. He took the time to explain exactly what he needed, what he was going to do, and provided the right context to even explain how he was going to do the work. Mike did a wonderful job with the outside installation all the way from the ETA to how just clean the job was done - this _is_ a professional installation. Mike worked with me to not drilling the garage walls for the outside installation (because my landlord is ridiculously picky) _and_ explained how the landlord-tenant law comes into play. For Internet access, Mike even went the extra mile to explain cat5 connection types and, best of all, put up with me injecting my router in the middle to have a firewall before the signal went to the rooms in the house. For tv, Mike also put up with all the tv setup that was still in progress. Mike was just awesome and in my eyes elevates your whole company. For sure I'll evangelize Frontier and it's mainly because of him. I hate Comcast and I knew I couldn't do worse than them but I wasn't expecting to have picked such an awesome company to go with. The installation process was very frustrating, we were scheduled to have a technician at our house between 11-3 on a Saturday, after 3 there still wasn't a technician so we called customer service, they didn't know what was going on and didn't seem to want to help. At 3:30 we received a call stating that they were short staffed and that they wouldn't make it out (they probably knew they were short staffed long before 3:30 and could have called earlier!), so we were able to get rescheduled for Monday. The technician who came out on Monday was great! He spent a lot of time trying to figure out the cable wiring and made sure to get us connected correctly. Now that we have service the TV service is great for the most part, although the on demand fails at time and causes us to rewatch episodes because you can't fast forward and the internet is slow at times which can get frustrating.

from the initial sales phone calls to installation i gotta give hands down 5 stars support. I want to call out Dan again for doing such a great job in fixing my situation and being super duper informative and helpful along the way. My only complaint is the initial Sales setup (thru a 3rd party vendor, not frontier as I found out afterwards). I was swindled into bundling which I was leaning towards doing anyway. However, the 3rd party stated that in order to waive the installation fee, i must bundle. Turns out this was not the case after following up with frontier after the fact. thank you Frontier.

Could not believe it! Frontier install tech called to say he was 30 early and when I told him I wasn't ready offered to just wait until the beginning of the scheduling window. He moved his vehicle to a section of the condo property parking lot where my husband could see him so they wouldn't miss each other and just waited for him to get home. The total install time was 20 mins, tops. Internet is up and running great. Gotta say, I'm totally shocked, customer service was great.

The self-activation process was very easy and simple to follow. I'm grateful I only need 1 device that acts as a modem + router at the same time. The only thing I'm complaining about is the sluggish speed I immediately noticed upon using the internet. I'm not satisfied with this slow speed. I don't know what to do about it but I sincerely hope the speed can be boosted at some point as I operate my business online.

Mixed review here. Terrible local sales call balanced by attentive and quick national call center experience. After seeing the online adverstisement for 30/30 Mbps I call in and hnfortunty was forwarded a local brands. The guy I talked too was completely unprofessional. Had little to no actual knowledge of the products and said kept trying to up-sell me after I simply told him what I wanted. He also kept talking to me like I was some college buddy of his. His language was just off putting. It ended by me asking for the online deal and he said, "I never even said that was an option, man. If you can find that price and get someone to come and an install it then go right ahead." I then ended my call and did just that. Once I called the online phone number and spoke directly with a national rep, he quickly processed the order and scheduled the installation exactly how I wanted and expected. I got a note on my door a day later examining the process of running the Fios line to the house from the sidewalk. Noticed some paint on the grass a day later to mark out the small trench and then 2 days ago the line went in. Tomorrow in the official hook up and I expect another seem less step in getting a great deal for a great service. Thank you Frontier for providing another option other than Comcast. I hope to have a great relationship with your company for at least the next 3 years ;) Then

So far, so good! Very professional installer. Although a new router was provided, I had the option to use my own router, with no interruption in internet connection after replacing the old CATV coaxial cable with the fiber optic connection.

Service is same or better than cable. Why would you pay $50+ more a month for the same service. FiOS is super fast too. Would like the On Demand selection to be better - only complaint. $10 a month for Hulu or Netflix takes care of that and is still cheaper than cable.

Tom is nice person and done with installation rapidly. But only disappointment is my installation is not happened as per schedule which is on 06/20 (12 PM - 4PM). It's re-scheduled to 06/22 at 1PM PST and done in just 15 - 20 minutes. Not sure why it's not happened as per schedule. This is the only disappointment that I had with the service except that everything is good.

I am new to frontier. And so far i am optimistic. I say this because, things have not went the way i have thought they would. Started with being told someone would call to schedule my install time and day, never did. The was told i would be charged a $40 deposit, $50 was taken out. Thankfully that was an error and fixed. Was quoted the wrong package price 3 times by different reps. Was told a day and time a rep would come for installation, they never showed up. Now i am told that they will just ship my modem instead and have me install, still waiting. I say i am optimistic because i have faith that it will all turn out proper, that and i have a lot of patience. For now...

Just installed frontier last weekend. Was supposed to get it installed on Saturday but no one turned up (Since it was long weekend, it is understandable). But the guy at the customer care was courteous enough to schedule the installation on a Sunday. Carl, who installed the router and the modem did the job pretty quickly and the service was up and running in no time. Don't have any problems yet except of the fact that I had to reset my router 3-4 times since I got disconnected.

Speed is not the same as promised I.e 30/Mbps upload and 30 Mbps download. In reality at home I am getting 15 Mbps download and 7 Mbps upload. Overall it has good service and there is no disconnectivity.

It was easy to set up, but the person taking my order added phone, and didn't add HBO, so I had to call on the day of installation. The tech didn't even know how many boxes I needed. I was told this is because Frontier uses a 3rd party for these sign ups? Anyway, the tech was great, and even though I had to call, the person I got was really cool and had everything switched around correctly. So 4 stars because she took a potentially messed up situation and made it way better and even saved me some money. I just wish I remembered her name.
