I LOVE Frontier and have it on my boat and just subscribed to replace idiot Comcast. However, I am disappointed that Frontier had me download a what they call Frontier Security. They want me to subscribe to their version of virus protection and pay money for it. I will not do that. I have malwarebytes.com and it works great. However, even though I don't want this program on my computer it continues to pop up and I cannot delete it unless I go into program uninstall and I don't want to uninstall Frontier, just this hokey program of theirs. I don't want to have to call them again and sit on the phone waiting. I would give them 5 stars readily but this is just a plain nuisance!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. The only issue was there was a bit of a misunderstanding about FIOS vs. DSL. I was under the impression that I was able to get FIOS but it turns out it was not available in my area. I am not unhappy with the results as the DSL and price for the service are within the parameters that I planned. I just wish it had been more clear that FIOS was not available before the technician showed up. Overall great service though. Thank you,

I did not actually choose to set up my WiFi with Frontier because the tech, Matt, who came to set it up for me was very honest about the fact that it may or may not work as well as I would have liked. I had been assured that I would be getting the highest speed, but he said the highest speed available would probably not be as high as I am used to wirh Comcast. My son's video game system requires a high speed to work well. I appreciated his honesty, but would have been glad to have known this information before waiting all morning on Saturday, as well as now I have to go with a whole different company that has a better WiFi availability.

3 of 5 I had a really good start setting up new service. Then notified to fax lease.. so I did and install date was already set, however. this was a blank install, and I was left with no install. spoke with supervisor and thought went well. as for frontiers mess up, I asked for waive of install due to having to wait til amoyher week til July 25. He said should not be a problem and would contact customer service. I was on hold for right at an hour. When Kimberly from customer service answered. This was her reply, "We Never wave install fees! If you were an existing customer we would go above and beyond, but you are not even a customer yet! If you have no other questions, have a nice day." I then asked to speak to her boss and supevisor and was told they are in meetings, so NO. Then told to have a nice day and she hung up on me. When the install did not happen on the 25 July, I called the ustomer service number. I spoke to a nice lady out of Columbus, Ohio by the name of Olivia. What a blessing! She made me feel important! She from the 25 of July until now has followed my account and called everyday for updates and went well above and beyond. Had it not been for Olivia, I would have cancelled everything. I am finally set up thanks to OLIVIA! You all need more people like her. If had not been for the bad experiences.. a five star rating. You got three stars on behalf of Olivia's excellent customer service and follow through. I was not able to hook up my heart monitor due to Frontier delays and mess-ups. But thanks to Olivia, I am still a customer and I hope no oe has to go through such a horrific experience!

The billing is usually correct my service works 90% of the time at the speed it is supposed to, however the website and bill paying policies are messed up, you get charged for calling in to pay them money, when you go to the store you don't tip the clerk, right? ok, why am I paying a fee for paying my bill online with a rep and when I try to use the website or the mobile app it never works (9/10 times it doesn't work) So I usually have to go through the hassal of calling in to complain to get some stupid other fee off, but they sure beat Comcast / Xfinity or what ever their trying to hide under for a name now... that place will charge you double!

As an IT professional with many years of experience, when I read reviews I pay attention to the ones with real world examples so here's mine. I have been a long time DirecTV customer and still am. With my previous Cable and later 4G service I was never able to "live stream" Video On Demand. While I have a comparable connection speed to those other services, now with DSL for the first time I CAN stream Video On Demand.
