Why isn't Frontier available at my address yet?
There are two main reasons your address may not fall within the Frontier Fiber availability map: (1) another fiber provider may operate in your territory, or (2) your area hasn’t yet reached a population density that would offset the cost for Frontier to extend its infrastructure to your address.

When will Frontier Fiber expand to my area?
If you have Fiber Internet but can’t get Frontier Fiber just yet, hang in there. Frontier is officially phasing out all older infrastructure and replacing it with fiber in every mile of its territory. A sign that you could be eligible in the near future is if you live in a fast-growing area close to the Frontier Fiber availability map already.

Is Frontier Fiber different from Frontier Internet at my address?
Yes. Frontier Internet is a different service, with plan speeds up to 100 Mbps, in areas that don’t yet have fiber. But there’s great news—Frontier is officially phasing out this older infrastructure and replacing it with fiber in all areas of Frontier availability.

Does Frontier availability change by plan or speed tier?
Yes. In areas with Frontier Fiber availability, all ZIP codes are eligible for the starting speed plan of up to 500 Mbps, but for gig and multi-gig fiber plans, availability varies. Additionally, some ZIP codes in the Frontier territory don’t yet have fiber, but they will in the near future as Frontier sunsets older technology in favor of fiber optics.
