If I could I would put no stars! Customer service is terrible! I spent 2 days over the las 2 weeks home waiting for my scheduled installation with no one ever showing up or calling to inform me that they couldn't make it. It took over a week to get a technician out to my home to install cable and internet. They missed their initial appt, and tried to schedule me out for another week out. I refused and said I would take my business elsewhere. Some how their "no technicians" turned into two technicians who could make it out that same day. The technicians were helpful and friendly. We have already had a couple issues with the cable services though. We attempted to purchase the UFC fights and when it said it didn't go through, we decided to buy them through the PS4 instead. But we still got charged by Frontier. We are also supposed to have HBO for free for two years, but every time I try to watch something on HBO is says I have to subscribe in order to watch. Overall I am seriously unimpressed by Frontier so far.

I had a terrible time with the individuals setting things up for me and decided not to use them for my internet. The first person I spoke with told me there was still a balance at my new apartment, even though it had been vacant for over a month. She sent me to customer service, who was supposed to ask me some questions to verify my identity. When I was transferred, the customer service person had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't find me in the system. Then she said I had to fax or email (like I had internet!) my lease over to prove when I moved in. When I asked if I could schedule an earlier install date then 4 days from then, the customer service woman asked for my billing number (not my phone number.) I told her I didn't have one yet because nothing was set up. She said I should have it in an email (NO INTERNET YET!). Finally fed up (I'd been on the phone for over 50 minutes at this point) I decided to cancel my install. I called back to cancel--they couldn't find me in their system. They said "call back in two hours; you should be in our system by then." When I called back, they still couldn't find me. I told them to cancel anything they had on me or make a note of it or something. They then called me on the day they wanted to install, asking why I wasn't home. LOL!! PS-I went with a different company and got everything installed that same day.

Extremely frustrating. First off, after being told I had to wait 2 weeks for the install of my DSL line (really?), I notified our office manager at the community to be alert to them and let them in to set up the service as I travel a lot for work. On the appointed date, I was driving down I-5 when my cell phone rang with a robot voice saying "Do to unforeseen circumstances your install has been delayed..." - then listing a date 2 additional weeks out. I had left a clear note on the door regarding the office staff letting them in, and here I was receiving an android voice saying I had to wait again. I contacted Frontier and was told it was probably an oversight and the service was installed. No it wasn't. Very poor customer service.

I love the quality of your TV. The picture is crisper than Comcast. Phone quality is worse than Comcast and we had to have another service call when static developed on the line in the first few hours after installation. The issue has been corrected. Internet speed, as expected, is better and more consistent then Comcast. The issue is that the Frontier router does not reach across our home like our Netgear router did. Both the installer and the man who fixed the phone told us to go to Best Buy and ask them what to buy to extend the signal. We purchased an Eero system but when I called Frontier the Tier 2 Support woman I had the unfortunate luck to get on the phone was not helpful and even hung up on me. It appears we got it to work with the help of advice on the internet.

Well, I have been waiting for three weeks to have the install completed, as my first install date was changed without my authorization. This review is solely related to my installation experience. The installation technician (Steven) reached out to me ahead of my installation window to advise that he was available earlier than he expected, and if I was also available, he would be happy to head over early. I was, he did. Steven was friendly, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job explaining the installation process and detailing the service and equipment. Steven answered all of my questions, and did a tidy and efficient installation. After the installation was complete, Steven verified that I was getting the appropriate download speeds and provided me with his business card in case I had any post installation hiccups. This was, hands down, the best installation experience I have had with any carrier. My experience with Frontier so far has been excellent. I can only hope that the Quality of Service post-installation is as good as my experience so far. Thanks Steven, and thanks Frontier!

I love my Frontier service and the customer service I have received so far! When I first installed the internet the man had informed me that the services had went down. He offered to wait in his van until they came back on. He waited for 30 minutes which I thought was super nice of him. After the 30 minutes he came inside to let me know it would be a little longer, but that he could activate my internet as soon as the services came back on. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to wait around to see before he decided leaving and that he communicated with me about everything that was going on. As soon as the services were back on he gave me a call right away to let me know he activated them! He didn't have to on top of it, but he was, and in my experience that is amazing service!

I love not having to worry about a data cap and I can't wait for digital voice to be available in my area. What started off rather bad, ended up quite good. My first attempt at scheduling an install, resulted in an entire day going past, with no call or contact. After waiting most of the day, I called, only to find that there was a "computer glitch." Stuff happens, so I rescheduled. The next appointment happened, within the time given. The installer was friendly and did a great job installing 3 boxes and explaining the new services. All is working, so far. I did not get more than a basic apology for the missed appointment, but the 2nd attempt made up for that, mostly. Winner, all around.

Fios Internet has been great so far. It's advertised speed is lower than what cmcst is advertising (I have the 30/30, coming from cmcst 75 down.) Fios has a faster and more consistant ping/uploads, making it feel smoother and more consistent. It's been fine for HD Hulu, Netflix, and HBO streaming.

It took a while to get the installation actually scheduled for a reasonable time - at first we were scheduled three weeks out and I work from home so this was not an option. I imagine they are popular to be scheduled out that far. Once we got a closer date nailed down, the technician actually came earlier than expected which was awesome. He had to do some stuff to get the cable up to where we wanted it to go but he figured it out. The internet service itself is great and we haven't had an issues.

I am brand new to this internet service. So far I have extremely fast internet and love that. I did have an issue when calling to get the service and I had spoken with a gentleman then a day after that when I called back there was no record of me even talking to another guy or my appointment I had already made. And the first gentleman I spoke with had given me a bunch of wrong info so I was super upset but then the next guy was very very helpful and made my experience 100% better. All in all pretty good so far I will know further once I get my bill and see that it isn't some outrageous amount due that I wasn't expecting.

I recently moved, initially I was planning on moving my centurylink internet service to my new home. That was more difficult than it should have been. After trying for a week before my move and a week after to reach them I found out they couldn't even provide service. I turned to frontier and they not only were open to talk in the times that were convenient for me, they were easy to get a hold of! And they even emailed a number so that I could reach them in the future. My modem shipped quickly and arrived right when they said it would. I had a few issues setting it up and getting everything running, but despite calling in the middle of the night they walked me step by step through the process, were extremely patient and very friendly. It works great now and I know I can get help in the future if I need it. I hope I never have to leave.

Hate that a customer can't be located without the made up 10 digit number. Not by name, address, contact number, ss#. Because of this if I call when I don't have that information the call is often over 30 minutes. Also install windows should be less than 8 hours. Let's try for 2-4 hours. Installer was very friendly and spent the extra time required to get our system running due to apparent infrastructure issues in the neighborhood as well as wiring issues in our new home. He welcomed us into town with several great restaurant suggestions and was a pleasure to deal with. I'm not thrilled with the service I'm receiving, though. I had originally signed up for 75Mbps service, but was told significantly later that 15Mbps is all that is available. Now that it is installed, it is topping out around 5Mbps. I will likely cancel soon.

I am pleased with the installation...everything works just fine. My only issue was that the technician was in a hurry and did not offer any training on the remote or DVR. He didn't really test to see if my devices worked well with the new internet service. Luckily my son was able to do some switching of equipment that made my signal strong enough to stream video through my Amazon Fire Stick which was very important to me. The installer did not give me a business card or number to call if I had problems.

The person I spoke to was courteous and knowledgeable. I only wanted Internet but of course he tried to sell bundles multiple times (expected). I placed my order, he didn't have a confirmation (this was on a Saturday), so he said he'd call me back on Monday. He never I called, so I did a live chat with a tech the following Friday. He found my order and let me know the install was scheduled for July 10th, he was great. One odd thing was I found a 50mb price online for $45 (frontier fios) but the rep wouldn't honor it, said it may have been from another area. That was lame. So 3 stars for the first rep 5 stars for the live chat tech And 0 stars for bait and switch pricing for an average of 3 + 5+ 0 / 3 = 2.66 stars

We moved from Las Vegas to Gresham OR. Cox cable is the king of cable in Las Vegas, so it was important to find the same kind of service in Portland. I asked my sister-in-law what service they have at first she said they had Comcast, they were inconsistent with their billing so that's a no. Then she said Frontier is the ruler of the nest here in Portland, so called and found out that frontier has fiber, which my husband is a gamer, so that's very important about speed. I had frontier at my prior home, and after I moved it was not available. I was forced to using Comcast. Frontier worked very diligently to eventually provide service to our neighborhood. As soon as they did, I cancelled comcast and switched bad. frontier as always was friendly, understanding with a soft sales approach. I really appreciate they way the conduct their sales and the consistency of their offers. The three year fixed rate is wonderful. I am glad to be back!!!!

The two technicians that was sent, did a magnificent job. The first group came to dig and lay the cable, and the next technician came to install the service. I have dealt with a few cable companies before, but your guys made them look like amateurs. The were friendly, considerate, skilled and on time as arranged. The connection with the internet is almost above my expectations, and makes my previous connection look like a tortoise with a sore foot. What else can I say? I can but only promote your service to all my friends and family. I also do hope you maintain your standards - it has been a privilege to do business with you. I still would love to automate my monthly payment on the account, but apparently has to wait for my first account to arrive.

I applied Frontier Internet service on 04/10. everything was great and support was good. just one thing happened that power supply was out of order after 6 hours on 1st day Frontier setup. I waited for 3 days to recover the internet service although I know I need to wait through weekend. But, overall, I feed good with frontier as new customer for 10 days.

Installation was occurred on time and was effective despite the technician experiencing trouble with the pre-wired cable in the house. He used existing telephone wiring to provide internet service and abandoned the existing cable since he could get no connection through it. My internet connectivity was solved, but the technician told me that I could get telephone and internet service only through the connection he made but not TV. That is not a problem for me now since I was only after internet, but I wonder how or if Frontier could provide TV to this residence at a future point of time. I am very pleased with the internet service provided.
