Five stars for the installer. Two stars for the experience. The installer was great. Service came up really quickly. But then it stopped working. The installer troubleshooted my end for about an hour before calling up his tech support guy. Turns out the problem was on their end. Once that was fixed, all was well. But the next day, things stopped working again. I thought it might be the same problem, so I contacted customer support and then tech support. That's when the run-around started. Since my service order had not yet been closed, tech support said they could not help me. Customer service could only refer me to tech support. Finally, in frustration, I called up my installer again and he was willing to help out, but right then the service magically was restored. Turns out it was an area wide problem that day. And now, three days after the install, I still cannot log into my account using the name and password they gave me. Maybe because it was a holiday weekend...

I recently switched to Frontier Fios for internet and TV service. The internet has been much more reliable than cable. I haven't had any drops in service which was my main reason for switching and am satisfied. Normally, I do not take time to write reviews for service that I expect. Your people went well beyond that, however, and I am glad to say a good word for all of them. The woman who took my call helped me get the features I wanted without pushing me to take those I did not need. There were some old cables on the site, and the installer took time to make a new connection, and then, when it was installed, make sure that I understood how to use the system and the related wifi hotspots advantageously. Because the cables to the building needed replacement, a separate team came out to get them safely underground. The two men that came over for this were polite and worked rapidly and professionally. Your people are wonderful and make me glad to be doing business with your firm.

The service I signed up for (FiOS internet & TV) is pretty solid. The internet is much better than the TV so far. We've had some issues with the connection but it was resolved quickly by the CS team. The reason for not 5 stars is that it took me 5 calls to Frontier to sign up for this service in the first place. It was like I had to force them to take my money! I wouldn't have persistent, but they're the only ones with FiOS in the area so it's worth it.

I had great service from both gentlemen that came over. First guy came to install what I thought was the hopper3. I was very busying unpacking and not paying attention. When installation was finished, I realized I couldn't record 16 shows at once. He showed me the work order, it said 2 sling hoppers. When I called to set up service I was told hopper 3. The guy left (can't remember his name). I called you guys back and you sent a guy out a few days later to install hopper3. His name is Josh , very professional, very informentive, taught me many features on the remote, and a great salesman. Josh did an excellent job!!

I was a former Verizon Fios customer and left shortly after Frontier took over the Fios brand due to major issues with service and then customer service. After about a year with another company I decided to come back to Fios because I like their features. Frontier seems to be doing much better with their customer service. So far I am happy I switched back. I like that they don't require a contract anymore. I would have never switched back if a contract was required. Overall I am happy to have Fios back.

Phase 1, I ordered Internet, TV and Phone service from Frontier Communications. I was assisted by a very polite and knowledgeable young man (“Shyan"). Shyan didn't try to push me into anything. Instead he asked questions and help me determine what was the the best package for me. Phase 2, The Frontier Communications technician showed up as scheduled today 05/17/2017 on time and what I would say that he was even early after he confirmed via phone that I was available. Shortly there after a very polite young man ("Eric") arrived at my home. After a brief greeting Eric set about completing the install. This work went along in short order and before I new it the task was complete. Eric was knowledgeable and informative. Eric made sure every thing worked as required before leaving. Eric was a most pleasant person to have visit my home. Phase 3, I called Technical services for assistance installing Frontier security features. I was assisted by a gentleman named "Hawk". Hawk was very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. With his assistance I am all set. Phase 4, I can't wait to enjoy FIOS! 100 Mbps and its all mine, Oh Boy!! Thank you. I sure hope that the satisfaction I enjoyed today is where Frontier Communications has set the bar for customer service.

Much better phone and TV service than Spectrum, but spectrum may have faster internet speeds. My biggest negative with Frontier is they are quite expensive and their billing is very confusing and not exactly transparent. They have never been able to give us an exact quote of what our bill will be until you sign up for service, and even then you don't know until you see your first bill. Other than that, their customer service is good and like I said, the phone and tv are good.

Between calling to sign up for NEW services with YOUR company, having the technician come out and install, and then having to call back because your representative signed me up for a completely different package than I asked for, I have now wasted over 10 hours with your company to get ZERO satisfaction. I am disgusted at the fact that you allow your representatives to tell their customers "we cannot provide anything to you in writing of what services you sign up for" whereas when I signed up, I was supposed to get an email with everything and never received anything. I now feel like I have been signed up with a complete scam of a company and will be cancelling this week. Customer service is so poor from all ends, and your company or from what I have experienced, cares to give any solutions, and you make it all about Frontier being right and the customer being wrong. So sad this is how paying customers are treated.

I've had service for 10 days... I've already: Cancelled a service that I was not told about but signed up for (Frontier Secure) Spent over 4 hours on the phone between Technical Support saying one thing, customer service saying another about my internet speed being limited to a lesser speed than promised (had 3 different tech support people say they see the problem, but only customer service could change it, then have customer service treat me like I'm a moron for trying to do what tech support told me. Been misquoted the monthly dues from when I signed up. Had an order put in to add caller ID without my ok. Called in to have a modem returned that I specifically said I did not need at signup. Worst experience I've ever had with a telco.

My first experience calling frontier on weekends was awful because I will choose the option and be on hold for a long time. One time since I was riding as a passenger I left the phone on hold for 45 minutes and no answer whatsoever. I was very frustrated on that date but on the next phone calls I was able to talk to a representative and the experience changed. Now I call and I don't want that long on hold and always been able to solve my issue. I guess Frontier hired more personnel or did something because now they are a lot better. I have had to call 7, yes 7, times just to add a set top top box, update my old box, and update my bundle of services. I have had three different people get the order wrong. The first time I was waiting for the order to arrive and it never showed up. When I called, they said it had been put in wrong and wasn't ever going to ship. The second person didn't enter it in correctly either. The third person didn't ship all the equipment that they were supposed to send. I am still waiting for equipment and this started weeks ago. Every time I call, I am on the phone for a minimum of 45 minutes. This is the worst customer service I think I have ever experienced in my life. I wish we had just changed cable companies.

I found a deal online for a lot less $ than what I was offered on the phone. That was super disappointing when the online offers couldn't be honored for me despite the professionalism and friendliness of the initial female rep that I spoke to in order to sign up. My experience with another rep (man) to see if I could try to get the online rates honored after I'd signed up for new service was on the rude side (brusque). I decided to cancel the installation after thinking about that second interaction with your team b/c ultimately from a startup cost perspective this would be a more expensive service for me than just remaining with my current ISP.

The actual Frontier Internet Service is great and I consistently get the speeds that I am paying for. Customer Service / Technical Support is hit and miss. I know that is the case at most companies but I've noticed with Frontier it seems to be more miss. I would usually give this a pass but there was one experience that wasted over an hour of my time only to have The Tech Rep hang up on me. This rep wouldn't wait on the phone for 5 minutes for my ONT to reset after he resent the signal to it. He told me to wait for it to come back on and call back if it still wasn't working. After I told him it would be faster for him to wait 5 minutes for it to come back online than it would be for me to call back, wait on hold, reexplain my situation to a new person and go through all the basic trouble shooting with the new person he just placed me on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. That is definitely not customer service.

Ridiculously horrible service. I called on April 24th and set up service. I was told they would mail my internet goodies on May 3rd. I called May 10th to get a status and was told my order had been deactivated and my account cancelled. They did not have any reason to give me. Then the rep ran my credit without asking me. After being on the phone with her for 55 minutes, she hung up on me. I tried the chat feature and was told my order was not deactivated but that it was on hold. 30 minutes with her and no answers. She said she would get back to me. Nothing now, 23 hours later. This company is a joke and I am very upset I even gave you a minute of my time.

I would rate Frontier at 0 stars if there was an option. I was very happy with my Verizon service, but was forced to participate in the merge. After that occurred, I no longer had access to my online account and was on paperless billing and auto pay, leaving me without access to my account information. Each time I called in, I got horrendous customer service being transferred from one person to the next because they couldn't find my account. I set up an appointment after I moved to get my service transferred and was told I had a confirmed appointment. I took the entire day off because they only give an 8 hour window- from 8-4pm they'll come install. Come to find out, the appointment was never set. I have another chance and reset the appointment. I called and had a question about the account number and again they couldn't find my account. Each time I call in, I am on hold for 20-30 minutes while they try to find my account. I finally asked them to cancel my account after having so many issues. I would never recommend Frontier for service. Save yourself some time in your life by not waiting on hold.

Honestly, pretty horrible service all around. After repeated the spelling of my last name word for word more than once, it was still registered incorrectly, which caused major delays in trying to find my file when calling back to schedule my installation appointment. Having service installed by time time i'd get to my new apt was vital - something I gave heads up about ahead of time. The 2 week or so period I was told I'd have to wait for service then, came as a surprise. The person I spoke to calling back to see if there'd be an earlier appointment could not find my name on file (possibly due to the incorrect spelling of my name, in spite of my efforts and even confirming with my rep that it was B as in Boy for the first letter of my last name..). This rep (when calling back) also happened to be rude to put it mildly. Getting Spectrum was a night and day difference in every way.

So far we are not impressed. We have three newer computers and for some unknown reason only two of them will work with your modem. Repair people come out and poke at things and shake their heads and walk away. I currently have a cable running across my floor to connect your "WiFi" modem to my desk top computer. When I explain to the techs that every thing worked perfect with my old service they just look at my as if to say "So What". I am locked into a contract with Frontier now so I will have to lower my expectation I guess. Tomorrow I will run up to Staples and spend about $100.00 for a WiFi extender and plug it in about 10 foot away from your modem then hard wire it to my computer. Well I am about out of space here so , now you know that we are not happy. Frank and Val Maybe Time Warner wasn't so bad after all....

Horrible, we had great difficulties trying to move. A couple of times no one showed up. When we needed customer service to correct turn ons and turn offs they mixed up - we would be on phone for 1-1/2 hours. We asked for empty boxes to send old boxes back. Absolutely horrible service. I had an appointment on April 24th and no one showed up and there were no follow up phone calls. I called that evening and was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours and was unable to get an answer as to why nobody showed up. The following day I called and set up an appointment for May 1st from noon to 5pm and again nobody showed up. I called at 11am that day and they assured me that the tech would be there, but he never showed up and nobody called me. I am going to get different internet because this is ridiculous.

We just had our cable recently installed. I worked for about a week on getting new service to our new house. It was pretty much a nightmare. Don't get me wrong everyone I spoke with was super nice and helpful, everyone just gave me different information. Also, when the installer came, my grandfather was at the house. I felt he treated him like he mistreated him and would not do the installation or show him how the remote worked because he didn't want to break the equipment. Really? break a remote? I feel it was really rude. They advised me I did not have to be there only someone over 18. As far as the cable service it works like it is suppose too. I would not recommend this cable service to anyone.

Bad customer service when it comes to installation appointments. You're given a 4 hour window, however if the tech is running late (4 hours later than window end time) you get no notification. They're inconsiderate of people's time, and if you try to get a supervisor to correct the wrong, they claim their hands are tied. Can't do much when theirs only 2 providers in your area besides wait and hope get actually show up to the next schedule appointment. 4 week internet installation wait.... it's the 21st century, get it together guys.

I recently installed a bundle package with Frontier which included phone, internet and TV package. The internet connection is excellent, both upload and download speeds are great. I was very pleasantly surprise with the quality of the tv picture being more clear and with vivid colors. I guess this is the difference in having fiber optic vs. regular cable connection. So far I'm very please with the service and trust that the quality of service with continue.

This was Day 1 with my new service - Nice installation, but I would have preferred to have the modem mounted where the previous modem was mounted, hence the shelf rather than the screw holes into the side of my garage wall. The Frontier installer never took the time to make sure the internet connection had been established. Shortly after he left my home, my wife called me at work to let me know she had no internet, which affected her ability to do her online business. When I called Frontier to see if they could contact the installer, I spoke with Jina, then Courtney, Melissa, Tony, Eric and Jose within the first hour, each passing me on to the next. It's so disappointing that Frontiers first contact with a new customer started like this...but it gets better! Later that night when I got home, I discovered the remote for the main TV room in my home did not have the ability to operate my surround sound. When I placed the initial order, I was told that I would receive a 3 device control, but only received the standard 2 device...I don't think many people only have 2 devices anymore, do you?. I was told if I wanted anything additional I could purchase from a 3rd party vendor. I apologized profusely to my wife for making the change from Spectrum to Frontier. So much so that I actually told her I was going to cancel the less than day old service because I still had not canceled my Spectrum service. The only reason I didn't cancel last night was because I got stuck in the vicious queue of prompts...Frontier has my sympathy, and my money, for the next two years.

Contacted frontier 6 times and it took them several times before they could verify our adress even though the previous occupants of our home had frontier installed before us. They also promised to call us back several times and we never got a call back. We got disconnected several times as well. And they signed us up for a package that we specifically specified that we were not interested in. Our modem that was supposed arrive through the mail was never sent. We had to resort to buying our own. We were not able to surf the web until a week after the original date it was supposed to be installed. VERY DISPLEASED.

My original person I set up service with did not fully submit my order so when I called they were unable to locate my order and I had been waiting for a service call all day to help with self installation. I was also told that the service I chose would stream Netflix which I later learned from a very nice and honest representative that it would not have those capabilities. So the price I thought I would be paying was not applicable. She tried very hard to find a special going on so my service could be within my price range and also be what I was originally promised as having capabilities to stream Netflix. After an hour of this representative trying her best she was ultimately unable to fulfill my needs and I had to cancel set up altogether. I was super bummed to not have the chance to have worked with your company as I've heard good things before about service.

I would leave zero stars if it were an option!! I had an appointment to have internet installed on the 14th of April between 2-6 pm. This is a vacation home, so I took the day off work and made the hour and twenty minute drive up there and waited. Around 5:10, I called to confirm someone was on there way and was informed that you had overbooked appointments for that day so I was rescheduled for the next day!! No call was made to inform me and being Easter weekend, I had plans and couldn't stay or go back up. Very unprofessional and not a good start to the relationship!!

All personnel during phone calls were wonderful, however the service and communication in general is severely lacking. On the install date we sat there all day, no one called or came Medical needs for land line got us a phone install the next morning, however it failed later that day and now we have to wait five days to get a repair/put in wrong type of line? even with mefical rush. Since the beginning of set up nothing but problems with customer service, from getting wrong information to getting accidentally cancelled on the installation. I got hung up on and repeated myself multiple times. With an exception of 1 of 6 reps was good and willing to help, but your system was not up and running with our information. The service freezes and not all channels that were originally promised were given. There is no other choice of cable in our area or we would go with another carrier. We were so excited to get FIOS but now we regret it. Disappointed overall.

I have been everything but impressed or satisfied with your service so far. I called to start my service on the 3rd of April and i was told that my install kit would arrive by that friday. My order was not processed until the 7th and I did not receive my install kit until the 11th after i called again. And now we sit here on the 17th and my internet service has still not been turned on and the last time i called your company, i was told that my charges started on the 6th. If I could have selected "terrible" instead of "bad" than i would have. Matter of fact, the only thing i have been impressed with so far is how nice your customer service is considering that i am becoming a regular caller. Please just get my internet turned on. There is absolutely no reason it should take over 2 weeks for me to get DSL.

My appointment was between 12:00 and 5:00pm, when I contacted customer service (I could only get a chat), at 4:10pm to see if they were still coming, they could not give me an answer. The installers (contractors, not employees) up at 4:59pm, saying they had just got the work order. 2 1/2 hours later they finished hooking up two tv's (one wireless), and the phone jack. Thankfully my desktop computer is wireless. BTW - My house is fully wired with a hub. I asked to have all the Cat5 connected. They made it sound like it was too much work, so I passed, so I could go to dinner. It works good, but I am not happy with the installation.

Was supposed to get hook up service today...waited two weeks for the appointment. NO service during the requested hours of 8-12, then I receive a call at 2:00 from the dispatch saying they had a manpower issue and will not be able to make a connection until Monday. As I get off the phone to get back to actual work, dispatch calls me back and leaves a voice message and says they are sorry...they won't be able to get there until Tuesday. Wtf. Call customer service to see what's going on and they 'help' me out by putting in an escalation request. I don't even have service yet and I've already got problems...not sure if there is a location for negative star rating, but that's about where your rating would be with me right now

I would say I have had a busy 48 hours , 10 phone calls and 2 visits from the installer.....order was written wrong, therefore installed wrong,price was quoted wrong ,tv froze, box stopped responding, service outage, 2nd installation appointment cancelled, by changing my service to add TV my message retrieval pin was deactivated.....disconnected twice with no callbacks......The installer who came both times was excellent.... The last Technical Support person who was able to solve my problem was good. So 2 out of 10 of my contacts were successful

I quit Comcast cause I was promised better service from a third party recruiter for you guys... I got an install date that came and went and have been on the phone everyday and have a list of supervisors and employees of whom I've spoke with.. all have promised to get to the bottom of this and call me back I received 1 call back from a Hannah of Georgia very dissatisfied with me experience and hope someone makes this right.... Install was long, but the technition was super friendly. We signed up for HBO and when I called because the service wasn't avaliable on my end the operator that helped me took about 10 minutes to find my account. We never resolved the problem with HBO not being activated. Eventually the line was disconnected and she never called me back even though she took a return number. Strangest customer service I have ever received.
